Hi! I'm Kathè :) I don't know if I'll even have readers but I made this blog to show you all of my adventures in this city :) I'm so excited :) Today or tomorrow haha not so sure but April-May are the summer months...is the start of the summer of Filipinos but unfortunately, my friend has a summer class so she can't take me everywhere but she promised that she'll try :) The city of flowers or what they call the 'Asia's Latin City' haha I've had a few friends who are mejicanos and I'm wondering why it's not called the spanish city :) I mean, there's nothing latin in their language :P Their language according to my friend (Kathleen) is 'Chavacano' which is a creole of spanish language because in her words, "Spain made Philippines its b*tch for 333 years!" so I think we can definitely see Spanish influences in this country.
Hmm the official languages are Filipino and English but of course, the groups of people have their own languages and it seems like this city is home to many groups of people and Kath assured me that everyone is accommodating :) I'm here with my sissy but she's busy writing stuffs and my friend Kath is doing lots of things haha mostly lazy stuffs like watching animes and reading so I'm left on my own but I also don't want to explore this unknown city without them. I can't update often but I'll be thankful I made this blog in the future :)
I'm still jet lagged tho but the itinerary for tomorrow is to accompany my friend lol where? oh her university for her clearance + enrollment stuffs so I'm prepared to show you what her university has to offer tomorrow :) It's better with insider tips ;) But unfortunately, maybe I can't show you the other universities and schools here because I'm not sure if Kath will have business there so this tour is 'limited' ;( I'm more of a photographer so don't expect me to always show my face in pictures :D I'ma doppelgänger of Kath :) Good luck in telling us apart ;D
