The fire tree is still there with the round part that is not covered in grass because it is a cemented spot. This is the place where the 'piñata' is played for birthday parties. The building gives this place a haunted and surreal feel haha It's kinda destroyed but it's still a nice place. The second storey has a 'hall' and a bedroom (can't be used anymore) :) You can sleep here if you are brave haha this beach is free to the community and many people still come here although it is a good two hours away from the city :) To get here, you can ride a car or motorcycle but the people from this barangay rides a bus :)
This beach (COMLEND BEACH) at this baranggay Sinubung is where my friend grew up albeit in poverty :) This is where most of the celebrations and get togethers are celebrated. Once I'll visit this place, I'll show lots of pics.
The beach was ruined with the tsunami that hit this place way way back :'( It has sandy area and the rocks are from this wall built above for viewing activity but the structure crumbled creating a divide ;) between the shallow part and the part where kids can't cross :) The rocks from the structure acts as a barrier because beyond that is the deeper part :) OMG! Isn't that kid soo cute? She's the sister of my friend Kath :)
Sigh :) Can't wait to be at this place =))
